There are two new cursed zones in Expedition Agartha:

• The Cursed Catacombs: A dark and dangerous labyrinth filled with traps and enemies. There is only one extraction at the center of the map, and players must fight to escape.
• The Cursed Swamp: A treacherous wetland filled with poisonous creatures and deadly gas. Players must be careful not to get bogged down in the mud, or they will be easy prey for the swamp's inhabitants.

To enter a cursed zone, players must find a cursed portal. These portals are scattered throughout the Lost Island, and they are usually guarded by the twisted Malformed Nagas. Once players enter a cursed zone, they will have a limited amount of time to complete the zone and extract before they are cursed. 

While in a cursed zone, players will experience a number of negative debuffs, such as:

• Reduced health and stamina
• Increased damage from enemies
• Reduced movement speed
• Increased chance of being poisoned or poisoned
• Increased chance of being ambushed
